    y'all got it bad out there for sure. and when does it end really? for us fire season is july to now most years, snow comes early to the mountains and puts an end to things pretty quick

    Who knows. We are in another drought this year combined with millions of dead trees from the bark beetle and the long hot summer. Add 100 + Temps this week and the Santa Ana winds are starting up we will probably keep getting them until November.

    if there was one phone conversation that I could eavesdrop on this year it would have been when those folks had to call the rental company to let them know about the accident...OMG...what do you even say at that point? I drove through there earlier this year, I think its a 11' width restriction - semi-trucks get through just fine - it was a little dicey but you just go slow and watch your mirrors.
    I've been through several narrow construction zones this summer - just go about 10 to 15 mph and constantly check left mirror - right mirror - forward, left, right, forward...gets the blood pressure up for sure but if a semi can get through why can't I?

    If your friend is ever in MT and wants to do a little people-watching, let me know. I can point them to the highest concentration points of interest :laugh:
    And I guarantee if I had been there this weekend I would have been in that parking lot whipping out the jiffy pop and waiting for the show.... :popcorn:
