I’m using the Kiwi 3 and didn’t want to pay for the 4 who’s biggest claim was faster speeds.

OBD Fusion can log too, so that might have value. I’m going to turn that on for my drive home and see what the csv files include.

If using OBD fusion, make the dashboard with a few parameters. That may speed up by a fraction.

Nope. Mine shifts into 6th at 60 - 61, that's where I set it though. Stayed the same after Airload update. Seems to hold 5th much better before a downshift.

I plotted my log from the drive home. OBDFusion set at 200msec logging. It's clear that it's logging data at that rate, but data only updates at 3 second intervals. Here's a plot below that demonstrates that. Perhaps as mentioned, it's a limitation of OBDII and it'll never get better. I made some tweaks to my OBDFusion settings and we'll see if anything changes on my drive in tomorrow. There's also a built in log view that I haven't looked at.

I'm going through the log and it seems speeds in those table are in kph. My math suggests the same(+-), but I could be wrong.
Here is 4 to 5 upshift at 34.2 mph.

Everything I make is adjustment to seems to be almost exactly 5 mph off. VF tuner being 5 mph higher than what it actually shifts at :notsure:

I know that on Torque, it is somewhat dependent on the PID that is being reported. I know that I can easily see the fuel status flick between Closed Loop, Open Loop, and DFCO. On the gauges, it will show how fast the inputs are happening with the green light on each.

I think OBD Fusion might have refreshed faster, but I don't know for certain.

Are you mainly tweaking the Primary Shifting Upshifts and the Acceleration Shifting upshifts? Your latest tune in your sig has changes to both. No changes for downshifts or Primary Shifting 2-6 maps. This correct or have you started changing others?

I may tweak some shift points as well. Got any recent lessons learned to share?

I don't post much but have been following you guys and attempting to learn and make adjustments to meet my needs. Thanks to all that have shared.

Does anyone know what "Acceleration Shifting" impacts? How is this different than "Primary Shifting"? I would love to figure out gearlock independent of ECT.

Somebody reported that the changes they made to primary shifting 2-6 didn't change anything I believe. Of course, I may be remembering wrong.

Acceleration shifting impacts when you are accelerating without ECT on.

    I believe @M1Awolf has them

In the new version of vF, theres 2 tables you set to 0 if you have the dump tubes.
