Yep, this past Feb, without rebate too (took the 1.9% APR instead), $44.8k MSRP, negotiated to $39k prior to TTL and we have trade credit, so taxes were a whopping $400 I think for me. Ya tacomas are just not so popular here. When I was in AZ, wayyyyy different story, like CO.

Have to agree here. The JBL system in the PRO sux. My 2020 does anyways. TacoBuffet touched on it on another thread regarding the interior of the Taco's. I may disagree with some of his other assessments. But on that point, he's dead on.

OP nice truck! Hope LR speaks to you like AG did to me.

EDIT: My JBL factory system use to suck. A little help from Infinity, Kicker and a 1000 watts from Kenwood sorta helped it a little. :D

So here in IL and same when I was in AZ and NJ, say the dealer gives you $36k trade in and your new vehicle is $40k, you only pay taxes on the $4k difference.

I’m surprised to hear the 2020 Pro JBL system sucked so bad. I can’t imagine it much different than the 21, and as far as stock audio goes I’m really happy with how mine sounds. Maybe they changed something?

I had a set of led bulbs in my oem headlights and people were constantly flashing their high beams at me lol. I ended up replacing those headlights with aftermarket headlights so I don't have to worry about that anymore

Nope and it doesn't sound bad, think its in his head. You can make more adjustments with the updated 2020+ system, wondering if he has the speed sensitive sound setting on and of course you can adjust the equalizer in the unit itself and your phone. I've had JBL in my 11, 17, 19 and 20, no difference.

You are correct. It doesn't sound bad. It's just that it doesn't sound good. I dealt with it for about a month hoping it would grow on me. Didn't happen. The longer I listened to it the more disappointed I became.

I think it’s all relative. I’m used to my wife’s Subaru with bone stock audio. For what it is, the JBL sounds pretty solid to me.

I can't remember. My 2012 had the non JBL (well...sorta)
For 7.5 of the 8 years I had it. It had 8 JBL GTO speakers driven by 2 Rockford Fosgate's. Headed by a Pioneer double din after the Kenwood died.

Ok let’s relax. Not bragging or anything like that. Just trying to point out that the stock bulbs are plenty bright. When led lights started to first come out, I would flash others that had them too. Mainly because my headlights on my 01 taco were that bad compared to all the new led equipped automobiles these days. It’s only happened to me a few times by drivers with cars from the 90’s or 2000’s with equally crappy/fogged lights. No leveling kit. I have the same truck as you:cool:

Dealer offered me $36k trade sight unseen and msrp on first LR inbound in 6 wks. Would jump my payment up $50 a month though.

Man, I can't believe people hate on this color! I like it a lot.

I feel like it's going to behave a lot like Cavalry Blue - it can look so much different depending on light.
