You saw mine and Matt's trucks both on 35s they are big and there is a lot of extra stuff that you have to do and lots of compromises

 

And I do just fine on 32 and 33"

 

Your truck on 32s is like my truck on 35s or maybe even 37s as far as brake over angle .

 

35’s = pain in the ass

Surprised nobody has mentioned 34’s in here yet.

 

Been there done that kinda stupid almost the same things needed for 35s but yet wimpier.

A good 285s or skinny is plenty for 99% of people.

You can come across the street and look at mine, if you haven't already picked your truck up from Lacy's.

 

Well that's the exact opposite reaction I was going for but ok. We both have 1000s in gears, trimming fenders, no inner fender liners, I beat my firewall pretty good (could use more, and in my case also a cab mount relocate and 1" BL. @McRib can add to this as well. Both of us are still limited in uptravel due to inner fender and firewall to get all the articulation we both need to do more. Easy to get them to work on the street harder to get them to work on the trails.

 

Love the look of 35's.
Hate the effort, money and cutting it takes to run 35's.



I think ill stick with 33's.

His truck was at the alignment shop across the road from my work building this morning. Noticed it when I was out getting a coffee.

 

Reminds me I gotta call this place next door to work and see if I can get them to weld me on some new cam tabs and gussets!

 

I'm gonna have @slander come weld in my marlin braces, and feed him some BBQ.

Yes and no. I would have to do a lot more pounding and cutting to fit 35’s compared to the 34’s that are on the GX now. Also I don’t really need a regear with the V8 although it would be nice. I would like to go 35’s next but there really is no need to because the 34’s are the perfect size for me.
