@deekyn - I'll definitely let you know if I head out west. Pop in and show us pictures from your trips! MOAB is on my list as well.

7 MPG! Ouch! You're on stock gears, though, IIRC. If you haven't recalculated for the extra big tires, it might be better than you thought.. Like 8 MPG. :D

@BookieBob I'm actually FREE that morning (provided I don't have to work, but I've put in the last 5 Saturdays so if I do have to work, a stabbing is likely). I'd probably have to bail early to make it to a wedding reception, but I'd love to see your #blazingbluepearl in person!

I'm a maybe. With advanced EMT class, teaching outdoor emergency care and patrol picking up on top of ems I've neglected some well lots of aemt homework. Also got a fun little covid scare and almost got booted from aemt class.. I think there's no refunds now :/

    Trans Wisconsin Adventure Trail
    Lansing,IA to Potosi Brewery run.

    Friday October 16, 2020

Plan is to meet up Nw Madison early AM
(Probably the Qwik Trip in Middleton) and head to Lansing, Iowa. We will spend a few hours on the trail and end at Potosi Brewery for some lunch, beers, and museum walk around.

Do you need to burn vacation days/PTO? Now is the time to do it! Fall colors!
It will be +1 for me. My wife will be rolling with!

I've personally never done it. But have been told a Prius could do most parts of it.

Are you starting at Point Detour?

I want to run from there to Clam Lake and I'll be interesting to find out what that section is like. If it sounds interesting, I might run up that way after Potosi.

That's about a 3 hour ride home for me. May stay the night. Is there stuff to do local (bars? ;)) that would make the stay worth it? We're not fancy so dive bars are a plus.
