Your garage looks nicer than some rooms in my house

 

1982 Harley FLH (shovelhead). 22,500 miles. I've owned it for about 20 yrs. It is a really comfortable bike to ride, but the shovelheads feel best at about 50mph, or less, so I wouldn't call them a "road bike" by today's standards. Low and slow.

I got it cleaned up this week, and a new battery installed. Hadn't been started since about March. I haven't had a decent battery in it for several years, so rarely ridden. Fired right up and ran perfect.

It's pretty much all original except the oil cooler and the bars on top of the saddle bags. I added both of those items. I have the full fairing and the tour pack that sits atop the back luggage rack, but never put them on.

Paint on the top of the tank and front fender are going to need buffing. Clearcoat is in bad shape. Tried clay bar kit and it increased the shine, but still needs some work to recover.
