Built a kayak box. Really focused on Finding something smaller. I can fill up anything. Went with this. Screwed in the rod holders. I will order a mesh pouch for the front. I need to put a thin pouch up under the lid for my fishing license. Pretty simple.

can we both agree that you stop posting pics of your kayak? you're making me (very) envious.

as i use my Hobie Compass, i am finding it's shortcomings. very annoying shortcomings, one damn near fatal flaw. hahah. i might upgrade to a 2020 Outback. might take a month of continuous ass-kissing to the wife tho. but i have no shame.

Depending on the lake and where in NC you go and the species you target.

This is why I love kayak fishing over bank fishing or even boat fishing. Even if you dont catch anything, its always a nice time just to float around.

I perfected my pitch tonight. I’m getting goooooodddd. The trick was a much heavier practice plug. I can’t wait for my pitch/punch rod to ship.
2021 will be the year I try to up my largemouth bass game.
I can even pitch a lure when I’m sitting down low in my drive way.
I’ll hit Fountaingrove lake tomorrow since I’m kinda on call at work.
I’m still waiting for my bed extender for added security fir the longer drives.

    (Maybe Hennessy lake tomorrow?)

    Everything TW members recommend
That’s next on my list of casting techniques
    to learn.

I just started to learn baitcasters last year. I do ok, but I need to get better with practice. Practice. Practice.

Crushed them. The secret is to forget your cell phone so you can’t take pics.

I kept silent, but other kayakers surrounded me anyways.

Interesting. We evacuated due to fire. Wildfire. No room for my kayak. If it melts; two words. Hobie outback.

and I’m building a cement house with a metal roof :)

all good. we crept back home at zero dark early this morning. house has electricity..and we are unscathed. my house was never actually in an evacuation zone. my backyard fence was essentially the line.
but it came awful close. it burned a line down a hillside down Santa Rosa Creek which is a mile and half away..thankfully the wind cooperated for my neighborhood. others were not so lucky.

this was waiting for me in the mail box. :D. i am legit!
