I would totally do the flatbed option 1. Have a feeling it probably costs as much as new fenders, tailgate and bed replacement though so not sure about saving $$$.

What the hell sensors would cause ur truck to not drive in a straight line ? Are you talking about a cyber truck driving in autopilot?

    Uhh anyways...

This is how you tell if you have a bent frame. Measure diagonals between the 2 frame rails . Find mirror holes or bolts (pass / driver) or mounting points (leaf spring front mount ?) then find another pair of matching points somewhere towards the end ( bumper bolts ? Rear shackle bolt). Measure the distance between these Front and rear “pairs” across one another (the two diagonals ). If it’s tweaked this measurement will be different between the two . If no tweak then the two diagonals will be the same length. No offense tho based off your comment about “shop said sensors are making it pull” I’m assuming what I said might be beyond your comprehension and mechanical skill level . Like was the sensory digging into the break rotator causing drag on one side ?

with the shop telling me sensors was causing some issues i was very confused so i just said im taking it to a frame machine to see what is actually wrong because in the accident it seemed to have hit the leaf spring shackle but when i got it back it seem like it was fixed but just to make sure im gonna attempt what you said and no offense taken

You can also quickly take a tape measure and measure the distance between the Front wheels /rear wheels vs Driver and passenger side. Passenger and driver side wheel base should be the same obviously

I bought mine with a salvage title. It had been hit very similar to yours. When I bought it, it had been made pretty already. New bed side, tailgate, bumper etc etc, and a new spring hanger.

The truck looked great, but pulled right even after alignment. I ended up at a reputable frame shop. They found that the frame was in a diamond. The left frame rail had been pushed 1/4" forward of the right frame rail.

For less than $675 they pulled the frame straight. It now drives perfect and aligns to factory specs.

This is what I have been wondering...seems the armor type bumpers tied directly to the frame would save you money if you were hit under a certain force that would have just barely crumpled the OEM bumper and not hurt the frame..., but if you hare hit hard enough you forgo the energy lost to crumpling of the OEM bumper and it would bend the frame easier??

This won't tell you if the frame is in a diamond though, which it most likely would be, based on the off set collision and the direction of force.

You need to get beneath it and do a cross measurement. Pick points that are easily identifiable (and symmetrical) on both frame rails. Then measure them, left forward to right rear, right forward to left rear. If the measurements aren't the same, your frame is no longer square, it's in a diamond.

Find a shop with a frame guage. That's the tool for measuring if it's in a diamond. Any reputable body shop should have one and can tell you in 15 minutes is it's square or not.

    Correct.

That’s what I mentioned in my first reply . You just restated what I had already instructed him to do first.

Get it fixed and move it on before the damage hits Carfax. Tough to find a replacement right now, but that Scarlett letter of damage on the Carfax is something To get ahead of.

What sensor? Sensor on their alignment machine? Sensor on the truck?

Sensor ?? Umm what lol ... did u go to brake masters ...lol don’t think a sensor is going to fix your problem. Did you just buy this truck at a auction with the damage post some bullshit on here to get party’s interested in it . After you found out it was more work than you thought ?
