FWIW........I installed my Ultra gauge some years ago, to give me coolant, transmission temps and voltage readings. With time on my hands this year, I decided to get oil pressure and oil temps by adding gauges. Thanks to @DaveB.inVa., the oil filter adapter was the key to the ease of installation. I chose the 2 hole dash pod versus the Flex pod and A-pillar mounting, because it was only 7 bucks, and it easily fit the console space where I mounted it. I used VDO "cockpit" series gauges.

That looks great! I originally considered putting gauges in that cubby hole but couldn't think of a good mount!

Yes, engine had been driven, then oil changed (coolant temp 122F, trans 131F) ..... per Toyota, oil pressure spec:
Idle speed: More than 29 kPa - (4.2 PSI)
    3,000 rpm: More than 294-539 kPa - (42.6 - 78.1 PSI)

Interested in the pressure switch ? Are they available in different pressure readings ?
Do you by chance know how high it will read ?
I am considering a couple on the transmission to read transmission pressures . Problem is , I need the pressure switch to read from zero to 400 psi.

There are pressure transducers that go that high but they operate on 5V and not sure if they make gauges for them. I think your simplest way would be a mechanical pressure gauge.

    Thank you .

I cant believe how many pressure switches are available now . 30 years ago , I paid $400 bucks for a 500 psi pressure transducer . The have really dropped in price

After oil temp and pressure sensors, there are still two free ports on the sandwich plate for turbo and dry-sump system

I have always wondered what the dummy light pressure sensor on the dash was set to as far as its threshold for pressure. Cant say I have ever heard of people on the 1gr having oil pressure issues.

same here but everyone seems to recommend oil pressure and temp (at least with boosted applications)

Oh big time with the boosted applications. Lots more stress on things there.

I was wondering how to tap into those. Is this adapter pretty solid or is there a better method for tapping into oil pressure?

For the 1GR, the light comes on when you drive for a bit with no oil in the engine:
