I believe they have a Pomps Tire there, they're usually a pretty good tire shop.

Wife and left MKE for Albuquerque two weeks ago. This weekend is a little Colorado adventure. Today went for a drive to get a feel for off-roading again.

No pics of my truck because I was driving and this road was too damn crowded to stop and snap pics everywhere.

But I followed this guy for a little while in his TRD PRO. He was a shitty driver and came pretty close to slamming in to the rock on the famous first switchback down into Telluride.

Tomorrow Imogene pass. Next month Moab. November off-roading adventures in CanyonLands.

    Trans Wisconsin Adventure Trail
    Lansing,IA to Potosi Brewery run.

    Friday October 16, 2020

Plan is to meet up Nw Madison early AM
(Probably the Qwik Trip in Middleton) and head to Lansing, Iowa. We will spend a few hours on the trail and end at Potosi Brewery for some lunch, beers, and museum walk around.

Do you need to burn vacation days/PTO? Now is the time to do it! Fall colors!
It will be +1 for me. My wife will be rolling with!

Dodged a bullet with yesterday’s storms. We had quite the hail storm yesterday afternoon and the wife took my truck to work and I knew the truck got pounded. But the wife said she didn’t see any dents but it was dark.
Got up this morning to look at it and other than dirty it looked fine. The 6 month old 2020 Aluminum F-150 that a coworker had parked next to her didn’t fare as well.

Finished our little Colorado weekend trip with Imogene Pass. Much prettier than Black Bear Pass, though a bit easier.

Hey guys, quick question. Being that I just bought my truck earlier this year, it is still on the stock tires. I have yet upgraded to an A/T. What do most of you run year round, especially being that this will be my first WI winter. Just want to hear what everyones thoughts are.

    Thanks!

    Tires, Softopper, many pinstripes.
I'm also curious about this. A Toyota mechanic swears by General Grabbers, but many here seem to like the Falken Wildpeaks.
