    I’m getting ready to retire my snatch strap soon. I’ve had it for a few years now and it’s seen plennnnnty of use, so for $60, may as well replace it. Not going to wait for it to get chafed or fail or anything.

    Signed up for the March '21 match just now. Gonna be a full 2 day thunderdome instead of one day like last time. Thankfully, I found good ammo at a good price (good price being relative for match ammo :rolleyes:) and already have it on the way.

    Front end developed a clunk in the last day or so, and it looks like one of my Camburg boots for the UCA ball joints tore. :mad:

    Guess I'll be hunting down that clunk tonight and hoping it isn't a ball joint gone bad. Cheap fix, but annoying to swap out.

    Edit: Just took a hot lap around our industrial park and the clunk isn't nearly as noticeable as coming back from lunch. Maybe I'm hearing things... Gonna retorque everything just in case and hope for the best. Boot is def torn though.

    Interesting news from Nissan re: the Frontier.

    Basically, NISMO (Nissan "TRD" Equivalent") is unveiling a ton of aftermarket parts for the Frontier, including suspension, bumpers, etc. Basically copying what Chevy and AEV are doing for the Colorado. Tacoma will stay on top for quite some time in my eyes, but it looks like the competition is sharpening their knives to challenge the offroader segment. The fact that TRD released their own "sliders" for this year says to me they are on notice.
