What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Never had one from the factory

 

Some people add one to eliminate pad click.
Thought you might put one in while you had it apart.

Lightly sanded the hole I drilled in my dash for the XM antenna.
Took some measurements and found that the piece of steel I bought for the bracket will be too thick.
I went today and bought a thinner piece of aluminum. I marked all the holes, I just need to cut/drill/bend/file the piece.

I tested the antenna placement yesterday and reception was surprisingly good. After I get the GPS antenna mounted I'll see what I need to do for both antenna cables.

Ouch. So sorry. Sounds like you’re a good man. My son is in the Air Force Reserves and asked to use my truck when he flew home for his monthly commitment. I cringed and politely told him no. I know...I know...bad father. Instead I took him down and helped him get into a truck of his own. Hopefully everyone is okay and insurance will get it fixed for you.

 

Very nice but I just need the 2nd gen molle rack (interior overhead no sun roof) from @MESO then life will be good!

 

For the record I added the old w clips (with the new w clips) when I did my breaks and pad click still happens. They are floating pads its bound to happen even with dual w clips.

What the tires? They are just 265 75 16s good year duratracs but studded.

I might have to get a black one. The white one that I have (to match my truck) is looking too "rice" for me.

Wired up the 42” Caliraised light bar. Can’t wait to see it at night! I was worried about the wind noise on the highway. But the K02’s are louder LOL

 

First milestone

 

Love all my kids...but especially proud of this one. He worked incredibly hard at basic, gaining the respect of his leaders and his peers, medaled in all four competencies, and earned the coveted Honor Grad Recognition. Thank you to all the men and women who have chosen to sacrifice and serve so that we can enjoy the freedom to do what we do.

 

I've still got the old ones for each side that I could use.
