Made a Costco run and took the long way:

Buddy just blew up a KTM 1290 before 50k miles. All maintenance was done on time.

Was pretty unimpressed with the 1290 GT when I rode one. This kinda cements it.

Went for a group ride yesterday.
To support a Police bike club I know members of, 320 bikes.

 

What blew?

 

Everything. Total carnage in the top and bottom end. Not sure what let loose first

 

setting a goal to get to 2500 miles before the end of the season (around end of October). Thats about 900 more miles than what I have now

 

Went on a scoot this evening!

 

Decal order came in, thinking either the black or gold chrome “heck raisers” is going to go on the non-exhaust side of the CT90

Lots more to explore, and I am getting a little more confident in the sand. You can see the head shake I get at the very end of the video. That shit is the only thing that really fucks me up in the sand.

Insurance on my BMW went down by 50% when I renewed it for the second year. Judging by used sales prices the value of the bike didn't decrease 50% so I'm guessing they just figure I'm less likely to crash it now that I've ridden it a while.

 

Definitely cafe racer.. seat hump, low clip ons, and not much else.

Those are flat trackers more than anything, not cafe racers. That bottom Yamaha is damn near perfect IMHO.
