Ultimate LED turn signals

Just noticed this post. Is that actual smoke?
My LE's started to look "smoked" like that, but is not actual smoke. I think it is UV damage. I put strips of PPF on them, and they look brand new.

 

my dudes, I need some help. I've been doing a few meso upgrades today and have hit a speed bump. I did the dual color dome and led map lights, black handles, puddle pods, and mirror turn signals. I bought the puddle pods and turn signals used

I know I should have done and check each mod one by one, but I did the puddle pods and mirror turn signals at the same time. now my driver side mirror turn signal doesn't work. the rest of the turn signals are fine and all the other mods work great (I'm stoked) I tried the stock turn signal again and it doesn't work either. checked both fuses under the dash (haz & ig1) and they're good... any other suggestions?

 

Did the pins in the connector get bent on accident by chance. Mine were a little off when I went to install them.

Look inside the plugs and see of one of the pins bent over. Can be fixed with needle nose but be careful.

uh, hey let's just forget it.. turns out I'm dumb. in my haste to finish everything up and be done, I forgot to reconnect the three wiring harnesses behind the drivers side kick panel. and it's right next to the fuse block i was checking

anyway, got everything back together now and it's all great. thanks for your help troubleshooting tho

I haven't seen him say so. I can tell you that with the puddle light kit, he sends a wiring harness that is v5 sidemarker ready. It has two little plugs off the puddle harness in the mirror that will supply power to the yet to be released v5 sidemarkers. If I was a betting man, I'd put my money that the exact same, or slightly altered harness will be included in the sidemarker kit as well.

 

So, to be totally clear and crazy redundant, with OEM LED headlights, we are all mostly waiting on v5 of these ultimate turns? Because it’ll be that much better than what is in stock right now?

 

Yup. The V5’s are promised to be the best yet, and many with the 2020 led reverse sequencing headlight turn signal are waiting on the release, due to the included user selectable setting that will match the led headlight turn signal.

 

Also will have a DRL like the limited editions except may also be Amber and or White DRL

Went with the Ultimate Turn Signals instead with the BF sale. Its good enough for me and it technically is OEM style so Im good with it.
the 175$ marker for the V5s too much for me.

Cant wait to see how they turn out on some of yalls rigs tho.

I did the same thing. I was waiting for the v5, but the Black Friday deal at 20% off was too good to pass up. so I went with it.

Like you, I'm curious to see how they come out when they do finally come out. Then maybe (read: most likely), I'll upgrade and gift these v4 to someone.
