I found another one with eyelashes and flower stickers all over it for 5k

I saw it and it was cheap, and I've seen a few jacked up for the woods. Mostly it would just be for dicking around. I was looking at a few Jeeps and 4R's today on CL for bouncing around the woods and not caring about pinstripes and trees. What's better than a thousand dollar suzuki pre-dented! :D

My "want it" car, most people say ferarri, lambo, etc....nope. Fiero. BRING IT.

    :burnrubber:

I miss my friends Geo Metro. It was a piece but it had personality.

That's what I want to do! It would be horrendous, I wouldn't want to spend any money on it (any "real" money) so it would be a redneck lift and wheel setup for sure. I figure I could get it for 1k, put 850 in redneck lift
    https://www.rocky-road.com/suzuki-x90-lift-kit.html

and then wheels from craigslist I'd find something probably for like 100 bucks with some crappy tires :D

i personally much rather the redneck lifted suzuki than the lowered guido fiero lol

both are fun, any car that stirs a reaction for under 2500$ is tons of fun, life is too short for boring cars

I wouldn’t lower it. Lowered cars are stupid. It’s just an awesome car. My neighbor has one I drive by daily. So sad. He uses it, I’m just sad it’s not mine.

I’ve never seen a dipped car that didn’t look dipped. Even the pro ones I’ve seen online largely look like a DIY paint job since they typically cannot get the gloss right. I’ve seen more than a few wraps which fooled me.

I would think any lift with that thing and you’d flip over unless you significantly widened the track in the woods.

Growing up my neighbor’s son bought a then-new MkIV Supra TT. A few months later the Supra was gone and a then-new Metro convertible appeared. I always wondered what the story was there. Then the Metro was replaced with an Achieva sedan. I don’t know if that was a downgrade or a lateral move.

I agree about the Dip, but if you're talking something quick and simple that you can do at home, it's not a terrible option. Could be just me, but I wouldn't take on a wrap job at home. They can go south in a hurry if you don't know what you're doing. Obviously, if you want a pristine paint job, you pay big money for it. Personally, I'm not a big fan of dip but I think it has it's place. My only experience with dip was a set of wheels that I needed to change the color of. It didn't work real well since it didn't hold up to the brake dust but, I sort of want to try it again with the new top coats and the brake dust cleaner they make specifically for dip.

I'll freely slag GM for some stupid designs on that vehicle but at least the Quad 4 engine could move some crackers

The quad 4 motor had some nuts for its day! They only sucked when grandmas only drove around town with them.

It has to do something to entertain the driver while they're waiting for their 20 min+ recharge :notsure:

    Morning all.
Got to have my first trailer sway experience on the highway yesterday, with 10K of gravel in the dump trailer. The pit that I use is typically really good about front-loading the trailer so I've got good tongue weight, but apparently this time they didn't. So at 70mph she started rockin'
Recovery was fairly easy, but it still wasn't an experience I'm looking to repeat, so all future trips to the quarry will include a shovel and load distribution check before I leave.

Holy smokes! That's a scary experience I've been through before.

Glad you righted the ship with no issue. Nothing to get you puckered like a close call with a trailer.

lost a tire with my boat two years ago or maybe last year, was easier to handle then some sway I’ve had in my life.
