Interesting that no one has mentioned that the next gen LC is going to come in two flavors, sort of. The Lexus version will the a +1 Luxo barge on top of the current gen. But, the Toyota version is supposed to get back to the LC roots as a true, basic offroader.

    Enjoy!

Also, just questioning the thinking here, if the Seq is too big how is the LC not?

I vote older Land Cruiser! I went from a 2018 Tacoma OR 4x4 to a 2001 LC (100 series). Let me tell you, it wasn't a downgrade! They cost triple that of a Tacoma for a reason. I picked mine up for $9500.

Oh and I also own a GX470. LC 100 series all day! The GX is faster though (lighter).

With a predicted launch date of next year, it might be rash to jump on the outgoing model now. Esp if you want less gizmos.

Your desire is irrational and there is a difference between want and need. If the sequoia is too big for you then the landcruiser is too big for you and gets worse gas mileage too.

If you want an SUV look at a 4runner but I don't understand how people buy new vehicles and change them every 2 years like candy.

Pretty abysmal from my research (almost traded for a LC100 about a year ago)

there is a like this unwritten theory about the LC and MPG
    they all get 12 MPG

regardless of what is advertised and regardless of how you drive and regardless of what you tow and or load up with..

it gets 12mpg, all day every day... 12mpg

i forget where i came across that, but its true... and yes the internet told me it to be true

Wow. Less than 300mi of full tank range would certainly have me getting a bigger tank. That's just not right.

My buddy has a built LC200 that he wheels and gets dirty in the mud. It does get 8mpgs though.

seems to be on par with the tacoma

so i dont see it being much of a change

the LC tank has a few extra gallons worth of capacity over the taco and the LC gets a few less mpg than the taco

its just about an even 300 miles between fill ups with either vehicle... albeit a few extra bucks at the pump, you do get a few extra plush seats

I picked up a 2019 Landcruiser last December for $77K, it was the managers car he out 5000 miles on. I looked all over, check around call dealers. Ed Martin Toyota had good pricing and can ship. Check out Ih8mud for a Landcruiser forum.

I'd be happy to get 300mi to a tank. I get about 250 now (obv self inflicted).
