I think you would find a sound much crazier than the normal "My truck is making a kazoo sound"

I'm going to fill my truck with kazoos to keep the crackheads out. Or, maybe used shotgun shells...

I just don't hang out near crackheads. But yeah some days I wish I had a shitty vehicle around, I don't like to park at the race track or downtown in either of my vehicles. Always worried about damaging them. Considering getting a 2nd gen runner still, since they're trash

Crazy shit at work continues, boss just sat down with me and told me that him and the CFO are fighting to keep me on full time, it's the wholesale division that is pressing to cut people's hours (people outside of their department of course). So I guess that's somewhat good news, told me I'll still have to plan on coming in part time next week but for the time being I'll keep full time pay.

Sounds messy and uncertain though so it hasn't changed me looking further ahead at new opportunities. Once that ground beneath you starts to shake you don't feel that good about standing there again lol.

3.0 and 3.4 swap it or just get a 2.4?

It's just around to be garbage that I can commute in the winter with (and let rot) and to drive to places I don't want to take a vehicle I like. Don't care if its a V6 or I4, if its the 3.slow then it stays that way and I'll let it burn.

Just ordered some White Knuckle Off Road (WKOR) diamond plate -- full tilt. Delivery will take 8 weeks. So maybe I will get them by end of November.

If I need to move the truck around the yard, aside from it being ear shattering loud; will the truck run with just a header, no o2 or a/f sensor in front? any issues?

yeah I've been fortunate in that regard. Honestly the reason I'm even still here this late in the Covid game is because of that, they could have kept anyone else that was in this dept on to do what I'm doing and paid them a lot less. But I get along pretty well with my supervisor, the CFO and especially the owner. Photographed his son at their Hollywood mansion when he was born a couple years ago lol. The CFO always likes to talk with me about trucks and cycling (I have zero interest in cycling but somewhere along the line he got the impression I did, so I just pretend lol). He bought us a nice crib when my daughter was born.

Also getting married and having a kid helped. Its funny how the higher ups relate to you differently when those things happen, it's like you joined their club or something. I bet if I got divorced I'd be let in even further haha

But the longer this covid crap goes on the less stable the working world is for most people, unless you're Jeff Bezos
