I totally got 8 years out of a set... and that was in out wonderful salt filled winters. They were super loose though when I did finally do them

Uniballs won't fail like a balljoint. You're probably ok to send it for a while.

You'll get some awful squeaking though as the teflon liner wears out.

I changed the air freshener to a new one, one time.
Purchased a tire gate from @GHOST SHIP and took a bit to get it painted and lined. If anyone needs a solution for getting your spare out of the bed or from under it, hit him up. This thing is stout and exactly what I needed.

Just did the same thing yesterday...

I swear every time I do something to my truck someone does the exact same thing at the same time! No matter how big or small the job is it’s almost scary how consistent it is becoming haha.

Nice! I have one from him as well, he made it for me a little over a year ago. Little different design, I had the spare mount welded on off-center a bit toward the passenger side. Looks awesome, Sergio builds excellent stuff.

I've always liked the idea, but I use my tailgate to much.

Well UPS showed up after dark with these! Unfortunately, I thought the resi mounts would be with them. I’ll call MCM tomorrow and see if they are coming anytime soon. I was hoping to have them installed for the weekend hunting trip. Don’t think that’s going to be in the cards
Edit: the mounts were there just didn’t see them. Hopefully I can get them on tomorrow!

So slow. Everything has been over the phone or email. I don’t think there will actually be an adjuster out to look at it in person, which I find odd.
Those things are drool worthy. I definitely want to know how they ride and work for you.

It's less Tacoma and more mod
I didn't really do anything that interesting, but I beat the ever living hell out of my inner fenders to make the tires stuff nicely without making noises. Now it just rubs on the washer bottle, but that's going in the trash anyway. I didn't feel too bad about really going to town in the fender well because all of what I brutalized is going to be chopped out for 35s in a little bit anyway.

My brother is an adjuster for Geico, since Covid he's been doing it all from home now. I guess they just rely on detailed photos and what not.

When my wife's civic was hit by a tree AAA just said take it to the body shop. The shop did a taredown and estimate from there. Never saw a AAA rep.

So I swapped my rear shocks out for a relatively bandaid fix for now. Replaced my Icon 2.0 VS shocks for Bilstein 5125 shocks. They length of the Bilsteins fit the 3.5” lift from Alcan leafs better. I was curious why the Icons are different lengths, I don’t think I noticed this when I put them on a few years ago.
