    I think it was a Kimble. It had pre programmed drum beats like swing, bossanova, waltz, etc.

    Don't play, but co-own (or did) one of Ritchie Blackmore's black Strats. Broken of course. I and a friend "recovered" it after he smashed it on stage and threw it into the audience, right at us while Deep Purple 2.0 played the Astrodome back in 1974. I crawled with it under me, and he straddled me and counter-punched any and all who would presume to have it for themselves. And there were many, and they came at us as a squad. The struggle seemed to go on forever. Thank God he was one of the baddest guys I ever met, and they paid a high price, yet he never went down, and he was over me the whole way. We were beaten to a pulp but it did not matter: We had Blackmore's Stratocaster. Took it to school the next Monday!


    Never saw a bassist who could strut a stage as menacingly as Glenn Hughes. If you know one please do tell.

    Last time I saws it was circa 1988. I assume he still has it. Lost track of him and most of my high school buddies over the years. This was a big concert weekend in Texas. That night in the Astrodome we saw Deep Purple, J Geils, Bob Seger, and a couple more that I cannot remember. The next day was ZZ Top's Romping, Stomping Barndance and Barbecue at the University of Texas Stadium in Austin, the concert aerial photograph on the back of their Fandango album, and most of the music in it. Saw Tower of Power, Santana, Joe Cocker, Bad Company and three or four others. Jimmy Page sat in with Bad Company, played an old square guitar that looked like it was out of the fifties. Kept telling my buddies in the opening acts, "See that guy? That's Jimmy Page!" They didn't believe me until Bad Co took the stage!

    My love of music came from Sunday morning Polka.

    My Grams and Granpa would play the local Pennsylvania Polka radio station on that huge hi fi stereo and they would polka and my brother and I would join in.

    Im at a loss, but the circle of life continues.

    Diggin the Pelham blue....but the natural and red is great as well.
