These things make any difference in head room? Does it allow for the seat to be lowered like in the Runners? Would be nice if I could lower the front of the seat a bit.

That's what I was hoping to hear. I'm 6'3" and my kids are getting bigger.
Been super tempted to just get a Tundy or a 2nd Runner.

6’3 with kids ... I would go tundra . Seat adjustment is not going to help you in your situation.

It obviously moves up and down but has anybody measured the difference between it in its lowest position VS one that does move up and down? I bet it would help those who need to go up more than those who need to go down from a “standard” position.

Yeah been leaning that way but trying to avoid a full size. Did go test drive a Crewmax the other day. It was cavernous!!!

    That's what I was thinking.

I'd say it does with the exception of this tilt steering wheel which imo is about useless.

A power seat isn't going to make that small back seat any bigger.

I think the downward travel is only about 1/2", not gonna change headroom much at all.

If you aren't going through tight trails, crew max tundra is the way to go. A tundra gets almost the same city mileage as a taco too...

With growing kids, I could see the Tundra being more beneficial. The Crewmax is just massive and it’s a comfortable ride. I had one for about 6 months but had no need for all that space or the towing capacity. It was an impulse buy and I regretted it. It wasn’t the best as a daily driver for me. That being said, if I had kids or needed the capabilities, I probably would have kept it.

I agree the Tundra is probably the better option, but let’s not give false hope lol. My Tundra averaged about 14 mpg with an even mix of city/highway. If it was just city driving, 12-13 was as good as it got. The 38 gallon tank was nice though. My Tacoma gets about 17-18 city, for reference.

Back seat is big enough for them but I move my seatback up a notch or two when my daughter is behind me. Wish I could adjust the angle of my seat down a bit in front to counter that.
