Having driven through Arkansas I can tell you that that strategy is exactly what I'd expect them to use. Moreso in the southern half of the state though.

I'll never forget pulling into a gas station in rural Missouri a few years ago while visiting my grandparents and this dude was filling up his truck while lighting up a cigarette lol.

It's for an outfit that builds hydraulic powered concrete cutting equipment. I used to work for them 3 years ago (my current company actually stole me from them lol) but due to corporate BS I jumped ship to go work for one of their vendors (my current place of fulltime employment)

In the past 3 years the corporate moneybags sold the company to the original creator (my old boss) and he's been building the company back up, currently he's so busy he's having to turn down sales cause he can't build stuff fast enough. So I come over for 4 or 5 hours in the afternoon to help organize his inventory and try to build up some stock because he's outgrown his tiny shop and is moving into a bigger place

The move is happening in Nov so I told him I'd work through the rest of the year to try and keep his feet under him... only 3 months to go:rofl:

Here's an example of our most sold item, the hydraulic hand saw20200923_155155.jpg

I was gonna say, if he's able to do that 10+ years from now I'll be really impressed haha. I always tell myself after work I'll hit the gym but I'm lucky if I find the motivation a few times a week. Plus I have to take my turn watching our daughter when I get home, then I usually grab a beer and by then working out is outta the question

Yea that's the other issue when you're our age. Metabolism taint what it used to be and working out is necessary... but screw trying to find time and energy for that nonsense
