Hello, I have a 2005 Tacoma with the trd Sport option. Everytime i go over a speedbump, or a dip, pot hole etc.....i get a quick tracking noise. kinda goes "clack" them goes away. no noise or squeeking other than that. does that sound like something i should be worried about? thank you.

Are you sure its from the rear end and not something in one of your rear bed pockets sloshing around? I have stuff in my rear bed pockets and it makes noises whenever i have a passenger they freak out about it haha.

actually, i never leave anything in the bed storage becuase the noise used to drive me crazy, he he he he he. so i took everything out and put things only as i need. But i have tried taking everything out, taking it for a spin and same noise. but again, no other noise besides that.

actually i came acrross an article that says that some tacomas need to have a "rear leaf spring pad" replaced, or something along those lines, which takes care of the clancking noise when going over speen bumps.........rough terrain.

Well mine had a bad squeak in the leaves. I took it back to toyota and bitched and they put two new leaves and new rear shocks on it.
