I ordered the sliders with a 15-degree angle up. It's supposed to give an additional inch of clearance for crawling. I got a note back from WKOR asking if I really want the 15-degree or the flat angle sliders. They said people with kids that need to step on the sliders have regrets about the purchase later. My kids are all adults so I don't have that problem. I told them the rig will be strictly for off-roading. They seem to be really on the ball. I appreciate them asking.

Do you have any experience with the 15-degree angle sliders versus a flat angle? I think the 2nd picture has a 15-degree angle.

Lol, I drove around death valley for a day with just headers and no exhaust. It was so loud in canyons. I had to wear shooting earplugs

The ones on the Tacoma are pretty aggressively angled up to the point where they barely clear the bottom of the door. Wouldn't have it any other way.

Even if they are flat I bet they are too tall to use as a step comfortably anyways

Such epic music. K'nex is awesome though. I wonder how long that took.

Either way the added protection is worth it

Having sliders has saved my door and cab several times
