So I purchased a base-model 2020 Tacoma 4x4 to replace my beloved 2003 base-model...but my 2020 came with no mud-flaps...and as much as I don't like their looks, I'm really going to need them driving slushy coal-mine roads. Being my 2020 is a base-model, it has NO plastic fender-flares...and all the aftermarket mud-flaps are notched for fender-flares. Any suggestions?

Weather tech makes a set for the sr trucks without fender flares. At least they did for my 2018.

Having the factory mud flaps and recently banging them on a rock when camping, I'm considering trying out the RA universal set because they are urethane and flexible.

One caution with Weathertech. I ordered a set for my 2020. The first set had the right number on the front box but the wrong flaps inside. Then they sent a set where the box and flaps were correct, but they were the same flaps that were in the first box.
Sorry, two strikes and you’re out. Went with factory flaps. They are just as easy to install.

When you tell the phone guy the make, model, year & trim package he should get it right.

Thanks JEEPNIK. The Rekgens arrived this morning. Not as flexible as my Gen 1 OEMs...but might not be an issue. Bag of hardware came with sections of rubber fuel-line. Hmm. guess I have to make shims or spacers with those? We'll see what the instructions say at www.rekgen.com/pages/installation-instructions. Again, thanks to all!

You have to use it for the front as a spacer over the screw. screw close to the truck

Blessings MGM! I have mortar work to do today...and I know I'd be thinking about that tubing all day. Now my brain can rest easy. Thanks for my mental help.

Metal spacers, wider washers, and shorter screws from Home Depot make the mud guards fit better.
