235/85/16 is a really decent tire size. We ran those on 3/4 ton trucks in the mud at a previous job and they were fine. Hard to get them in anything but a heavy-ass E though.

Most of my 'wheeling' is just exploring gravel roads and finding a place to camp. That could change though, i wouldn't mind doing some more technical stuff once I get the taco back on the road.

M/Ts do look cool tho, and they are definitely better offroad.

I'm currently running Es on everything, especially the work truck. My relative sense of weight is currently screwed up, though, and also why the jeep is getting new tires after only 8k miles. Decided to go with a budget option after a bunch of other work and put Treadwrights on. Roughly 70 lbs per tire. That was stupid and painful.

I definitely think a slightly wider tire would do us well in the looks department and be a bit handier off road. @Sociopenguin makes us look so skinny

Yeah they're ... ok. I had them on my last 4x4 and they were fine until mud. Then they were just sad.

I dream of living close enough to some good wheeling to justify running super swampers :D

Oof. Yeah E's only make sense to me if I'm carrying around a bunch of weight all the time in a heavy vehicle. On an empty taco, especially like mine, I feel like I'm just committing myself to 50k miles of back pain.

    So. Many. Stickers.
Get the 32s. They'll fit factory.

ATs so you don't kill your highway ride, then air the fuck down when off road :burnrubber:

    And then..... Full send

Fair point, I guess I'm just used to them. They pay for themselves on the work truck, though. I'm running around in mines with sharp rock everywhere; factory tires were destroyed in less than 40k.

Lol. They were round, they were cheap. Thats all I needed when I bought them to replaced the dry rotted ones on the truck.

I've actually never played that game.

But electrical is right up my alley so sure...it was definitely not a murder with the machete in the electrical department.
