Anyone have any experience with this product?

I'm missing my filler under the driver's side headlight and I'm finally getting around to buying a replacement and color-matching it. Wondering if that rattle is actually as well-matched as it advertises. Any particular kind of clear-coat I should be using with it?

I have that can and exact color . It does match pretty well. I would recommend getting a good clear also. The piece you’re trying to paint should blend in nice . Its not like a hole quater panel your trying to paint

Works well. Proper prep work so it will stick. Dupli color makes a decent rattle can clear also. Put 3+ coats. 70+ degrees. No problem.

i read that using a 2K clear coat is much better then duplicolors clear (wear a respirator from what i'm reading). I'm going to attempt my hood and roof on my 07 thats faaaded.

Ensure you are using an acrylic lawyer paint with spraymax 2k clear.

I paint matched my bumper and fender flares with automotive touch up paint cans on their website and spraymax 2k clear. It's a perfect match. Ensure you utilize adhesion promoter on plastic parts that will flex, self etching primer on bare metal and primer on other parts.

A bit dirty but here's a current picture.
