Wisconsin area events- COMING SOON! Lower Wisconsin River kayak camping trip! July 25-27

I left my house at 2:45 AM to drive to Florida this past winter.

I want to check out the northern section, maybe in November.

I haven't seen the northernmost section yet. Could be some fun up there.

So far the biggest challenge was trying not to cry after FR 327.

 

I think I need to see if I have some left over vehicle wrap to put on temporarily for that road!

 

It's easily avoided. And, it's not exciting, unless you enjoy getting new scratches. Everything I got there would buff out, though.

 

I went quite a ways. I think you’d be best to just skip to like the last 20 miles when you get to the lake.

It’s pretty overgrown. Might be a good road for a corolla, it could just sneak under all the brush.

 

My plan was to spend a night at Point Detour, and head south from there. I've done everything up to Clam Lake, so I might just quit there and go do some fishing.

 

I plan on placing a sticker order beginning of next week for the upcoming Trans-Wisconsin Adventure Trail Event

I need to get a T.W.A.T sticker, and then do the Trans Iowa trail and get a T.I.T sticker.

Trans Wisconsin Trail run, October 16.

Lansing to Potosi, capping off with lunch at Potosi Brewery.

@BookieBob , we should stop at Potosi recreation area for some BROtography! It's a great spot for pictures!

The Kwik trip gas station in Middleton, Wisconsin worked well last time.

 

blizzards are quite challenging, unless you are in Iowa

Is this on the run we're talking about on the 16th or the further up part? Can't scratch my mall crawler up got a side by side for that type of trail.

Not only that, I'm local and could meet at the Qwik Trip in Middleton.

 

Photos of the upcoming Hilux are out and it looks great! Maybe when I retire to someplace warm, it will be in a country where I can get one of these!
