All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!

I purchased mine during the Black Friday sale at CVT up in Chattanooga. It was a significant savings. Being able to go up in each of the different models really helped finalize the desire to purchase one, on top of no shipping cost.

For your truck, or the one you got for the trailer?

This is the AluCab Exp 3 that I got for the trailer. This was bought to replace my other RTTs I just sold.

Could be cause I was told it was in stock and drove my ass up to NC, only to find out they were two weeks out.
Put a deposit down on the last one they had available out of 12 coming in.

These aren’t the easiest to get a hold of. The pros are it’s built like a tank, the cons are they should have run a roof rack rail system all the way down the length of the tent. Why they didn’t do that is beyond me. So that will be my first change.
I think the only other con would be that if narrows down some towards the front. They did that so it would contour better with the various vehicles.
Time will tell if it should have been left as a rectangle like most are done.

What’re some of the best deals y’all know of for a floor jack/stands? I need to buy new ones soon.

Prior to now I’d been using 3 ton stuff, so at least that much capacity. The best deal I can find right now is the Home Depot Husky package for $120.

The floor jacks from HF have been reliable and well priced in my experience. I think I have a low pro/high lift 2.5 or 3 ton one. I rarely ever get underneath anything that’s solely supported by the floor jack so I’m not too concerned that they aren’t the best option out there.

As for jack stands, I ordered this 6 ton Torin set from Amazon a few months ago. So far so good, and they have a safety pin.

HF jack stands have been undergoing recalls lately. The ones they replaced the recalled ones with also got recalled.

I got some ProLift 6 Ton (IIRC) from HD for a pretty good price on sale, but they don't have the safety pin. The ones with the safety pin are best.

Absolutely love my HF low profile 3ton jack.

Nice! It's a very good spot, wish I could've gotten out more this year to water sites but work and shit got in the way. Hope to get some camping in more that it's getting cooler

I got the same HF 3 ton LP jack and I also only use jack stands with a safety pin.
I literally just crawled out from under mine for new front pads and rotors. Taking the boy on his first ever camping trip to Helen tomorrow!

Lifted 4.0 Prerunner here. Are there any decent trails in Northeast Georgia that can be tacked with two-wheel-drive? Is there a thread for this?
