I have a plate bumper, winch and 3/16 skids. If that’s your route, don’t go 600s

already got the plate bumper, planning on adding a winch and skids soon enough. whenever I both have the funds and the time to install so who knows when it's actually going to happen. i'm planning on sticking with my current setup for the next 20k miles at least though so I think that I'll have plenty of time to add stuff and see how my current springs hold up. thanks for the info!

For what it's worth. I'm running 14" 650's and they ride great. I've got all pro tube bumers f & r and 3/16"s skids. Also a bunch of other shit in the front like ARB dual and winch, etc.

I think 650 is the sweet spot for most semi-built to built rigs. Room to add more, but not too crazy stiff

Looks good. I need to do a little fiberglass work as well after my trucks got hit.

I’m running the smittybuilt X2O Comp 10k winch with synthetic rope. It has worked very well for me and never had any issues.

No problem. There are definitely better winches out there, but at the time that’s what I could afford.

Looks like the clicker resi makes the fittings have to be positioned a little funny in comparison to the non-clicker resis. Are you rubbing at all on the fittings? I have clicker ADS coilovers and plan to switch to this resi mounting bracket soon so I’m curious.

I was running out of light so I didn’t give it much time cycling it. But from what I can tell is it’s not rubbing at all. It was tricky to get them in. I was pretty surprised on how tight it fits in there.

    That’s good to hear.

You’re going to love them. Before I had ADS I had Icons and it’s a night and day difference.

Yup I have a feeling I won’t be regretting this change. Took a quick test drive and even on the road the truck feels so much better.

For comparison to raptor lining. Here’s sprayed monstaliner on my flares, bumper filler and valance. This was about a month ago. Texture is bumpy but not rough.

It's less Tacoma and more mod
Interested to hear if you have rubbing issues with the reservoirs and hoses. We have had a hell of a time making 285/75/16 clear them, ended up deciding it's not possible with that wide a tire and a neutral offset, would have to have lots of negative offset or a skinnier tire.

I’m currently running 295/70/17 tires on 17”x9” with 4.75” BS and 1.25” wheel spacer.
I think the wheel spacers should do the trick.

Pulled my supercharger. When I bought it, the fella told me he’d rebuilt the nose cone, but hadn’t replaced the rear bearings. And they were making noise, and as seen by the rotors, getting a little loose. So I swapped those out. I also drilled and tapped the nose cone to make oil changes a lot easier. The nose cone bearings were still mint, so they didn’t get changed, just the oil seal. Got her fired up and runs beauty again!!

I had to make custom mounts for my resis to clear my 285/75r16's. And that's with a 3.5"BS wheel too. No spacers.

Even with the custom mounts I was hitting full stuff and full lock. But I was able to make it a lot better after centering my steering rack and resetting the rag joint or whatever it is that mounts the column to the rack input shaft. Before, one side would turn in more than the other (as seen in the pic).

If I ever go up in tire size, i'm gonna have to find a new spot for them and/or shorten the hoses.
