Your just spoiled because of the low maintenance cost of a Toyota over the years. I see it all the time with domestic & german vehicles. Older high mileage hondas and Toyotas come in for basic maintenance, still running great, and newer low to moderate mileage fords & vw's are in for electrical issues, transmission issues, ect... That's why when a customer ask me for my professional opinion on what brand vehicle for them to buy that will be reliable with low cost of ownership I always recommend Toyota & Honda. For instance 4 years ago my neighbor asked me what small suv I recommend her to buy so I told her rav4 or crv. She bought a equinox, 60k miles the trans had to be rebuilt. Among other issues that shes had with it like multiple pw motors needing replacement. She uses a old broomstick to hold the rear liftgate up, the struts on my 20yo 4runner still hold my liftgate up just fine and all my power windows still work fine.

I’m as red, white and blue as anybody, but I won’t drive anything but a Toyota. Have to work too hard to waste my sweet money on vehicles that won’t hold up.

Have 160,000 on my 2010 and it’s been nothing but a pleasure to drive since the day I bought it brand new.

Maybe ,But there’s no Honda or Toyota equivalents available in this country to an E350 with a 10g payload. And if I go bigger that’s mo money for the government in ridiculous fees and regs.

Pulled the armor today. Definitely the front diff is leaking. Topped the diff fluid off, ~100 ml leaked in 1000 miles, 2 months. Not terrible.

The other day I had time to use Woolwax on my truck frame. I bought it in black from their site and used a TW discount that they posted around here somewhere.
I’d not used FF before so I can’t compare them.
The WW went on easily and only dripped if I spayed excessively in certain small areas. It had good coverage and an almost pleasant smell that’s not over powering. I looks like a thicker film on there and it being black looks nice. I did the frames, crossmembers, leafs under body, underside of steps and rear axle. I didn’t remove the skid plate or spare tire to spray in those areas. Washed my truck yesterday and it held up to that, though I didn’t directly spray the film. Took about 2 cans and would have probably started the 3rd if I did above the spare and front skid plate. Did not get inside of the tubes or doors. Overall seems a great product from an application stand point. If I dive much this winter I’ll give an update in spring on it.

I've been wanting to WW my undercarriage as well. Do you freely spray most everything? I know you're supposed to avoid the exhaust and brakes but do you avoid wiring? Axles?
Did you order the WW spray kit? Was that worth it?

If it’s like Fluid film you should avoid the wiring and bushings or anything that gets hot

I did try to avoid wiring and the exhaust. Though I didn’t do much to avoid the wiring. I got this kit. For the most part of there was metal I could see I sprayed it. I tried to avoid the actuator of shocks, struts and coils though. I did spray some on my hand and wiped the threaded portion of my struts though. The strut mounts, back sides of whee hubs, while avoiding the sensors. I didn’t spray the front diff since I didn’t drop the skid plate.
FWIW, I’ve read that FF will make bushings and other rubber bulge but WW has not had anyone say that. Do more research if you’d like to on that one though. It sprayed easy for me and the black on there looks nice.
