Yeah, back in Cali they would have been an issue for cats and chickens, although raccoons are more likely to get your chickens than a coyote.

There is a cat who wanders the neighborhood out here but I am guessing that these guys are more interested in mice than cats, at least while the weather is still nice. Winter might be another story.

They follow the cows around waiting for them to give birth, they like an easy, moist meal.

with all due respect, you should read up on what coyotes do, and are capable of doing, they are destructive, sneaky bass-turds, if you have/had outdoor pets, they would be devoured, once discovered, and they multiply almost like rabbits

No, I get what they're capable of but I don't have a reason to take them out for not doing anything other than existing. We've got plenty of birds and other animals around here that don't seem to be bothered by them so until that changes :notsure:

I did however see a hawk swoop down and attack a pheasant in the yard yesterday. Had no idea how freaking annoying those birds sounded so obviously the hawk wanted it to shut up as much as I did. They parted ways after their squabble.

well I just got back from the orthopedic doctor. SSSSOOOOOOO glad to have the cast removed from my left hand. My poor thumb
is swollen up and hurts like hell. I told the doc that they don't prescribe enough pain pills to last. Caught him in a lie, when he told me they were limited on the number of pills the could prescribe. Stingy bastards gave me 20, 10mg oxycodone after surgery. Label says take 1 tablet every 6 hours or 2 every six hours if pain is bad. they lasted me 2 and 1/2 days. I know there's a opioid problem, but dam, telling someone to take tylenol for this kind of pain. What a joke. I'll post some pics of my sewn together looking frankenstein hand later. Right now it's pain med time, and nap time. At least when I can sleep it doesn't hurt. Next comes the fun times with therapy, I can't wait to see what cruel shit they have planned for me.

This reminds me of the time I had foot surgery and my doctor decided to take the bandages off and "check" my flexibility  I wanted to kick him in the face.
