Interchangeable parts?

so i am looking at front end parts for my 01. Does anyone know what other manufacturer and model has a hood that will fit my tacoma. I can retrofit as needed. But want something close. Looking for different options.

 

Check the 3rd gen 4runners. I think they have the most interchangeable parts for some first gens

 

The 4Runner hood will not work unless you run the core support, grille, headlights, etc.

 

01-04 Tacomas for the hood only unfortunately

Hanneman Fiberglass makes hoods that use the "stock" hinges - only 3/4 lined up for me so modifying the hinges is likely if not going to be absolutely necessary. You'll need to add hood pins too.

McNeil Fiberglass makes hoods, but they're a styled little more aggressively and pricier.

Fenders you can get from any year - if you're running fender flares you might need to specify which year though.

 

What do you mean any year. Like i can use fenders from a 2015 tacoma. Just as an example. Because im wanting to do fender flares but dont like the bulged fenders.

 

Any year of your 1st gen Tacoma model run (95-04). Earlier years (pre 01) had the smaller tiny plastic flares and later years had the little thicker plastic flares. Not an expert with that - my truck's never had any.

 

Which make truck do you like best ??

Should not be a problem for you to install whatever you like .

Hood not so much.

Put the complete front end on end swapping the radiator support to use the other make headlights etc
