And they really sucked if the water pump croaked. 6 hour job.

Not sure, I usually go to Diamond in Whitman because they're a good bit cheaper. Filled up Monday but haven't gone anywhere since.

Yeah, fuck all that. Folks can do their training without impeding a taxpaying citizen's movements. If they think otherwise, they should try doing this on government property.

Oh for sure. The max payload package is like 13k but most are around 8. There are some f150s rated to tow less than the ranger o_O

I wouldn’t want to use a truck near it’s max towing. At least not a stock light duty or mid size.

I did some quick minutes on google and I am in the same boat. Wow. That’s insane.

    Morning all.
I haven't noticed a change, but I've been towing so much lately that my average is in the toilet anyhow.

Most states in the nation trailers with a GVWR of 3000lbs needs brakes. A few are 1500 which is foolish. NY is one of them.

That's right, I think I do remember that! Yes, it's crazy. My boat is about 4500lbs and has surge brakes but they have been disabled for years. I want to do an electric over hydraulic system but it's super expensive to do. Trailer brakes SUCK to deal with. They are a constant PITA.

I was wondering that too, I was in the mid 18's for a while and now I'm in the high 16's/mid 17s now.

The Pixel 5 resolves the reason I didn't get a Pixel 4. So tempting, but it's tough to replace my current phone after only one year. I really should be setting aside cash to address my awful chimney in the spring too.

I have an Iphone 7 and won't replace it until it stops dead. Chances are I won't spend more than 150 bucks on my phones. I don't care for them, it makes messages, calls, and I use it for music. Can it run Gaia? That's a new one for me (any phone since 2012 can do just fine...)

But, I also spend 100/year there abouts on shaving soaps and whatnot, and ride mountain bikes so, if that's your jam, so be it!

Question...yes I know if one of my wheel bearings was going bad I'd be able to hear it from inside the cab. My question is, if the bearing is going bad could the hum/drone you'd hear be intermittent or only happen at certain speeds? It's a little hard to tell with the wind noise from my rack now. I haven't had the time recently with work picking up to jack the front up and do the wheel spin test. I had my DS bearing replaced last winter/fall and I guess it could make sense the other side could be going bad now

What's better about it? I don't know anything about the new phones but my Samsung S7 Edge is older than dirt and I'm sure it will fail at some point soon.

Do I need to get 5g if I get a new phone?

I just had to replace a wheel bearing on the GMC, it would only make noise when turning left.

Usually the noise changes when you turn a bit. Does it do that?
If you haven't noticed try to find a smooth quite road that you can do a moderate speed 30 - 40mph and swerve back and forth while listening to see if the noise changes. They usually quite down with a load on them so if it quites down while steering left then your right bearing in NG and if it happens turning right then the left one is the bad one. The best way to check though is to jack up your truck and try shaking the wheels from top to bottom.

Those things can go at anytime.

Just had both my front ones done. Only driver side was really bad but I had both done while truck was in the shop. At first started as a pulsing vibe/hum between 65-70 mph. As time wore on it started happening a little before 65 and I could also hear it in the 30-35 ballpark. I tried the hard turn test but didn’t seem to change it for me. New bearings in and sound is gone and everything’s nice and smooth

Or this ^^^. Sometimes when you take the load off it makes the noise.
Always best to check by jacking the truck up.

I'll try paying more attention on turns today. If I have heard a drone it definitely sounds like that front PS corner. If I had time from work this weekend I planned on changing my oil so I'll try giving things a feel. Only have my bottle jack right now so hopefully I can get that up high enough haha
