Super cool! Thank you Johnson. I appreciate piercing the veil of your ad-blocker for me. Listen, ads suck and I am not optimistic about this marketing endeavor but the idea here is to pub Knoxville for that year round approach and further identify my target audience/location. We will see \_(ツ)_/¯ . Probably a big waste of money

Wow! What a read. I can guarantee that that story needs to be spread more. I have never heard that but I have definitely seen their logo on lots of vehicles and rocket boxes around here. I will never give them a dime. That is just disgraceful to the whole outdoor industry.

It sucks because there are a bunch of great people that work for that company but I'm not going to support their company's vision if thats whats involved.

The story was spread about as widely as it could've been. There were multiple articles by Outside, Men's Journal, Adventure Journal, GearJunkie, Blisterreview, etc. as well as a huge social media movement #boycottbackountry. Backcountry has also been attempting to make amends for what they did by providing support for many of the businesses that they sued. I'm not defending them, just sharing all of the details.

Feel free to browse all these articles for a more complete story...https://www.google.com/search?q=bac...7j35i39j0l6.7846j0j4&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8

That sucks that good people have to depend on them to feed their families. What is scary is if they will do that to the industry you just have to hope they won't pull the same level of shadiness on their employees. Hope the best for all the employees.

I am not on social media much and don't have cable or even antenna or do much more than work. Dreaming of time off on this thread and keeping up with the supercharger tips tricks and mods thread is about all of the outside info I get. Besides watching lots of Youtube reviews and videos of biking and offroading. So thank you for giving me the tools to see the whole story. LOL

    not enough.
There's a lot there in both sides of the story. I've got friends who work there as gear heads and they've heard all sorts of things internally. It's kinda hard to pierce what's really happened. It's definitely not a good look from their side.

That said, I felt bad for their gear heads who were getting calls from people with literal death threats. Backcountry even had to have police posted everywhere and escorts to employee's cars. It was a snafu and a shitty situation all around. Sure, bc was in the wrong. Their response was delayed for various reasons. But also, a lot of the outdoors folks needed to check themselves before calling gear heads and attacking the employees like that. So not a great situation nor response for both sides. :/

NEW BIKE DAY. custom built evil following! Gave it one ride and I think I'm in love. This thing rails the berms good and pops out of the corners so amazingly! I didn't know a bike could feel like this. So excited to add this to my arsenal and barn.

I might need some details on that one. Been considering moving to an older tundra (or full-size in general) to get more interior room for the kiddos.

Oh man the interior space is amazing. It’s so spacious. Also, minor thing that I love, it has vents in the door pillars for the backseat. I’ve always disliked a backseat that has no vents

Oh nice! That’s a HUGE thing I dislike about the Tacoma, no rear ac/heat vents. Same con with my wife’s crosstrek.

I didn’t realize the 1st gen tundra had those. Too bad I loathe a column shift...

Yeah, not supporting them is one thing, but going after employee's in on a whole nother level of crazy. Sorry the employee's had to deal with that. That would be really hard to remain professional being personally attacked about things the corporation you for does. And hella nice bike! specs?
