I have the 1 person version of this, I just plug it in to the bed of my truck to keep them dry. These are cheaper ones that hold up well but don't really heat the air, it just puts out room temperature air.

Love my huskys. That was after a camping trip, so easy to clean.

I've done something similar. KC cyclone on a ram ball. Tucks up perfectly into the bed rack upright. Resized_20191221_154647.jpg Resized_20191221_154637.jpg

I had some heaters, but they gave up, so now I will have the open bag underneath the passenger footwell with the heater turned all the way up. I once kept them in the bed and bag and it was about 19 at the mountain. I nearly broke my ankle getting them on

I started with bed rails and yakima racks. I loved the look, but one thing to watch out for is the board/skis sliding forward. I found one day that my board had barely started touching the back window. The vibrations caused a quarter sized abrasion mark on the glass.

A short time later I got a topper and now mount them to the roof.

I just switched from Duratracs to UltraTerrains. Loved everything about the Duratracs except for the road noise. I'm hoping that the UTs end up being similar, but due to the less aggressive tread, less loud. So far, they've done great on rocks, gravel, rain, and the snow that we got in CO during the first week of September. If they do well this winter, I think I may have found my sweet spot for an AT tire.

yip. they've never failed me and I've gotten about 4 seasons out of them so far. will probably replace them after this year. If i swapped more frequently in between storms I could have gotten a couple more seasons

    I’m using the solid rubber strap bungees....they don’t move a millimeter (1/25.4”)

That was a quick fix but it worked awesome. I figured I’d wrap the bars in foam this year but I got a old Thule rack free off craigslist so I’m gonna mod that to attach to my bars.

You mighta guessed I’m frugal but I also like building my own custom solutions.

This is a better shot of my diy bed rack and homemade ladders.
