A question for those who did the install themselves. Did you notice that the nuts on the struts give resistance when manually tightening the? The only go about 1/4 inch then looks like you need to use the ratchet?

Is anyone here running the Eibach kit on the front and HD Dakars with the OME shocks in the rear or see any reason why that would cause any issues? I think I read that the Eibach shocks should be ok to use with the Dakars but I figured if I'm going to get the full replacement leaf pack I might as well pair them with the shocks they were spec'd for.

If you're planning on already doing a full rear OME kit, I would just do the front OME as well.

I was leaning towards the full OME kit with 888 coils with plans to swap them out for the 886s if I were to add significant weight up front. The height adjustability on these Eibachs would accomplish the same thing right?

It could compensate for added lift by raising the height, but the spring rates might still be low for the added weight. I'd tell you to contact @Crikeymike and look into the Dobinson IMS setup instead.

I'm still looking at suspensions and am considering the Eibach but not sure what to pair it with in the rear.

As a daily I've got my Front Runner roof rack with Roam 6.5 awning and Front Runner load bars in the back with iKamper mini ( 125lbs ). When I go on trips I've got an extra 150ish pounds in the rear and 125ish pounds on the roof rack.

Looking to stay below 2.5 in front but want a little bit of rake. I do not do any real rock crawling but do hit some easy / moderate trails and have a 7k mile / 3 week trip cross country trip planned in March. I'm also trying to stay as budget friendly as possible including doing the install myself. Would blocks in the rear "ruin" the ride? Don't really want to drop $600 on a leaf pack so will go with an AAL if the block is a no go.

I just moved up to middle notch to account for added weight of bumper and winch and it sits really nice. I added UCA’s and now have a ton of caster. Changed out wheels and tires to 4Runner TRD Pro with +4 offset and 33 inch skinnies (255/80R17) and so far no rub. Second notch does not fill any stiffer really than the bottom notch.

Pretty happy with this stance! 3rd notch, spc uca, 2" rear block and 285/70r17. No lean spacer so passenger side is like .5" higher but I can live with it.

How's the ride quality with the rear block?

I asked the shop to put the coils on the 2nd perch when I ordered them but when looking at them they look to be on the 3rd perch. The reason I say this is because I would think that I should see the 3rd perch if it was on the second perch correct? I don't want to install these and find that I need to take them off to adjust them.

aren't the perches counted from bottom to top? You have 1 perch showing. Looks like its on the 2nd perch to me... Can you get a pick from an angle that's more from underneath?

I'll post a better pick later on. The bottom perch gives 2" so my thinking is that if it is on the second perch I should see a bit of the bottom perch and a bit of the top perch. Right now I can't see the top perch which is why I believe that it was set to the 3rd perch.

Not necessarily, my lift is on the bottom or first perch and I can see only one groove above my coil seat. I believe the coil seat is so thick it kinda covers up the next groove above what you have it set to. So if on bottom you'll see one groove (top most) above it, if in middle you might see none, and if on top you MIGHT see the lowest one. Just my observations, no data to show this minus just looking at my own setup and knowing what perch I have it set to. Hopefully this eases any stress though.

Thanks, If you can see only the top perch then it makes sense that mine being on the 2nd perch I only see the 1st perch. I'll find out for sure if I get more than 2" when I install them.

Hello all! I just got this kit installed a couple of days ago after reading the first 188 pages of this thread.
I ended up going with the Eibach Pro Lift Kit with a 1" block for rear (and a 1/4" lean spacer for front driver side). Pretty happy with results(ride/appearance) after a few alignment tries.I ended up with a 1/2" rake both sides and perfectly level in transverse direction with the help of a 1/4" spacer(that came with kit from Headstrong Offroad). The transverse rear height variation is negligible(only 1/4").I figured I'd post a couple of before and after pics. ✌️ 20200930_135717.jpg 20200930_135710.jpg 20200731_155152.jpg 20200328_154156.jpg 20200929_144442.jpg
