That’s a good fix!

 

I am not so keen on this location as it just outside of the skid plate and the drivers side barely rubs at full lock.
But it was better than above the UCA, thanks to @drr assistance...

 

I wonder if they would have sent you the .stl file so you could have just printed one yourself. A lot of local libraries, at least around me, now have 3d printers available for use. You could choose the material and print quality.

Actually this setup makes me think you could easily slap those on that front crossmember with the dials facing outwards...

Mine is a lot more quiet than I thought it would be. I don't like it being overly loud but this is almost to quiet.

 

Does the frame bracket-spare tire bracket just unbolt? To remove? Welded?
With bed on? Or need to remove the bed to remove this bracket?

 

Yeah that rear crossmember unbolts, the tire carrier winch thing also unbolts separately as well.

 

Can that long frame bracket be removed, unbolted and removed with the bed on?

 

If I remember right, the bolts are on top of the rails, so no.

 

Possibly, the top bolts are close to the bed. I'm not sure if you'd be able to or not.

 

I'd imagine you can do it by unbolting the bed and just cribbing it. I did a lot of work recently cribbing it instead of pulling it off completely.

 

I bet you're right. Usually just takes some really good whacks with a mallet to get it loose if it has never been moved before. It's easy to bang it where it would be hard to retrieve though.

 

After 4 cancelled orders because the part wasn't in stock or because they said it couldn't be shipped, I replaced the driver side seat belt, no more fraying!


Swapped passenger bottom seat cushion with driver bottom seat cushion, no more fraying! Wasn't that bad but figured why not swap before it gets worse.

 

Oh, and I thought I'd try the heat gun trick on the pink buttons on the seat belt buckle. Don't do that... Turns out the gray part of the buckle is much softer than the button and it started to melt
