Won’t be able to make it this time unfortunately anymore. 4WD is not working atm. I’ve fixed the front actuator only to come to find out something is wrong with my transfer case actuator as well ‍♂️. I will definitely be coming to the spring run and others next year and can’t wait.

Will keep you guys informed as well here is a thread that I started if you want to follow as well about my issues and progress. Going to take a look into the transfer case shift actuator this weekend and see if any signs of water or corrosion and if not will most likely take it into Toyota to see if they will fix under power train warranty.

The shift actuators arent uncommon for Toyotas. @OrangeTaco101 You said you had an ADD issue aswell?

I hope to get there latest 8pm tomorrow. Gonna try and get off work early but gonna head home right after, pick up the cooler and then be on my way.

Didn't you also have a abs problem?
Do you think that has anything to do with it?
When I had some problems with my 3rd gen ram Cummins I was told to disconnect the battery positive and touch it to ground to reset everything. I did that and the truck started. Don't know if that will apply hear. But maybe you have to disconnect the battery to reset whatever has to be reset....

Yes I did have a broken abs sensor but replaced that and abs light and that all went off so that issue is fixed. That was due to wheel bearing breaking/falling apart and broke abs sensor. Wheel bearing went as I broke the portion of the cv shaft that goes into the hub. And had to finish the trail with no cv holding the assembly together as I did not have a spare at the time. That was on greens. Here’s a short video I made of greens but still lots more I’ve got to add to the video but have not got around to it.

    Great video.
You can't even get an idea if how awesome greens is without being there. Videos don't do it justice.
    Anyway nice crawling man.

Gotcha. Yea, even if you get somebody to switch the selector while you're under the truck you should be able to hear or feel if the actuator motor is actually doing anything or not. I believe that actuator has a breather on it but I could be wrong about that.

Btw, for all you 2nd gen owners, want any axles? I have 2 good axles off a 4th gen 4Runner that I can bring up and give to whoever wants them.

Sorry guys, unfortunately I have to bail on the weekend. Looks like your all primed and ready to go.

Enjoy and see some of you at the Ganaraska trail day.
