Hmm what did I do to the 3rd gen today. Tried to get caught up on the thread, so I can make my next 10 mod list. Not only is TW addicting, very informative for a newbie, helpful for everyone on here, but the check is spent before it’s deposited every two weeks now. Will get all the pics of all the mods I’ve done in the last few months (thanks to all of you) with my learns.

 

I just used some headlight tint off

$8 Optix Smoke Black Light Headlight Taillight Tint Vinyl Film Cover Sheet - 12" x 36" Inch

Amazon. This stuff has clear protective film on both sides. The side that comes off easier is protection for the top for when you use a squeegee. The side with adhesive is much harder to remove.

I did it while it was on the truck. Just be careful with the razor blade when trimming so you leave enough to wrap around. Also, heat gun is your friend.

I just couldn't go the RED part. Replaced with like decal all Matte Black.

I was actually curious if turning on the cargo light would be enough to get somebody driving behind you to realize they have their high beams on. They probably wouldn’t even care though.

I got a so called (OEM) one on ebay for $45 and it works just fine for My 2018 Sport! Got a Pro Grill and same (diff. seller) Garnish for my buddies 2020 OR for his Birthday in July, and his keeps acting up? Not sure why? He's going to see if they can calibrate it or something when he goes in for his next service

 

A few weeks ago I stopped in at the local dealership for a software update on the PCS. When I got home I received an email from the service manager stating that the previous owner had purchased the ECP (Extended Care Protection) plan and that it had been suspended when he sold the truck. The service manager provided me with a form for transferring the ECP to me but it needed to be signed by the previous owner. I did a bit of digging in the glove box and found and old service form that had enough information for me to find and contact the former owner - I called and he was more than happy to meet with me and sign the form. I dropped the form off at the dealership and within an hour the ECP was unsuspended and in my name. I now have coverage until 2025 or 160,000 km and it only cost me a couple of bottles of wine (original price was nearly $3200).

Does that upper bar not interfere with the safety sense features?

 

Some dealers will deactivate the TSS and put a sticker on it if you bring them a non pro with a pro grille. Just be forewarned.

EDIT: It was in the service bulletin that they would do that. Also, if the truck has been lifted. Some dealers are cool, some are not.

 

Do you mind if I ask where you got the mat black decal. Agree, the red part is out-of-place looking
