I like that idea. Happen to know the thread pitch? I can get some security nuts too. also, I dislike the extruded aluminum. Cant use WEW security mounts.. ask me how I know :anonymous:

I really wish we could mount the tent directly to the rack without the 1x1 80/20. That 1" height gap is a bummer but oh well.

This rubber coated strap seems thick and better than the normal 1/8" metal with two holes that bend easily that most tents have.

im replacing them with some stop nuts. Only because i wont really have access to them once the tents on if they happen to loosen.

now im looking for a better mattress solution, the EXPED is ideal although little narrower than the tent width now and wondering if that will be an issue.

Not to mention i'd love to leave it inside the tent and not worry.

The RTT is marked Leer, inside the owners manual says Thule & Tepui.

Put the tent on last night. I for whatever reason only got this video of it closed so i screenshot it for now.

HUGE difference over the bulkier foldout tents. Big fan so far.

I'm looking into Roam, looks like they are top quality, and for around $1,800, you can get a pretty good one! But still looking, and yeah, overwhelming!!

Looks great man. It's 55" long right? How well do you fit? I remember you being a tall guy. Asking because I'm potentially looking into getting a similar tent for over my shell. I'm 6'3" and curious if it can fit me well.

55x84 is the mattress size. I fit end to end with slight room. But i never sleep straight as a board.

Damn I'm an idiot I thought it was 55" length not width haha. I was thinking you slept in a complete ball to fit.

I love the sleek low profile of hard shells, but with the tacoma now I can't fit it on the shell without overhanging over the cab. Perks of the 4runner.

Installed my 23zero Walkabout 56 yesterday and tested it out last night. Cannot say enough good things about this tent. I am very impressed by the build quality and the comfort of the mattress. 10/10 purchase. 92626E51-C206-4995-A415-8855F08CA5E5.jpg3EA5E379-645F-4570-B348-DD2405DD40ED.jpg33DCE929-F9EA-4353-B89A-9AFA0F0ED554.jpgA7D553D1-0364-4525-8DF1-0EC8B27595D6.jpgCDAEE8FE-2CA6-459C-9021-70DA868D090E.jpg

Can anyone tell me the distance from outside to outside of their RTT extrusion tracks?

really want to mount up a rtt if I could find a really good deal on one

looking at the smittybilt two person.
Made a shell rack and hoping the bolt heads don’t interfere

I don’t know the measurements of mine but they are definitely not that wide. Those bolt heads won’t interfere.
