Pretty much just pick anything along this route. Charlie's Creek may be less 2WD friendly now. Anything forest service road should be fine for 2WD.

Man havent been receiving notification from tacomaworld just jumped on here today, i actually value your opinion so in going to probably hold off for now on purchasing anything till NOV and see what Wilco's does on sales for the tailgate Id hate to spend that much money on a bumper, and be really dissatisfied I really dont want another swing out setup but for the money it seemed tempting, again 1700 for just a swing out tailgate really disappoints me if they had a 20% id probably pull the trigger on the wilco especially considering the benefits of not having to deal with the swingouts

I thought this was funny as Heck! Took my truck to the dealer just to have transmission fluid change done. (At 75K several months ago) Other than that I do my own maintenance. So I receive this in the mail today they obviously don't know I'm a member of the most bad ass preventive maintenance Tacoma website on the planet. Maybe I should call them to inform? I'm sure they are calculating the mileage from when I took in the truck a couple of months ago still funny as hell. They have no idea!:rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:

I wrapped my hood scoop, bumper and mirrors. The roof can’t me much more difficult than that.

If I can source the appropriate material for a reasonable price I’ll give it a go myself. I’ve got a big decal on my hood (doesn’t cover the whole thing) that I thought was pretty easy to install. Caveat being there was no cutting around things involved.

The shark fin antenna, 3rd brake light and the stupid sun roof have me question hesitating.

Use the razor tape. Wrap over it and peel!

I take it the edges of the material match up pretty well on a larger surface like the hood or roof?

I would think that the roof being a much larger surface area might make it easier to do. The only tricky spot will probably be the front near the windshield but you should be able to tuck it up under the rubber lip

I will find out for you. This is at AVO (Ashville Vehicle Outfitters), I am looking to do some work with them when I get moved up here. Awesome group of guys, super cool. That truck with the camper is kickass. It has the new OME BP coils on it and man they ride smooth!!!

Decided against going retrofit as I really don't have the free time to fiddle with it nor do I wanna spend the money on housings/projectors/lamps and risk effing something up. Ended up getting a pair of DEPO with black trim and gonna toss in some Osram Night Breakers and put LED's in the DRLs and corner lamps. :notsure: Got the DEPOs for $215 (plus getting 10% back - Discover card getting me 5% back and then they're matching that at the end of the year)

Any good sight-seeing roads in or near Gainesville? I gotta spend the whole day on my own up that way, would like to do some exploring if there’s any good Forest Service roads or something. Easy hiking trails would be cool too.

Thanks man, I'm gonna check out your basic walkthrough and see if it's something I can handle on my own before I order it lol. Heard so many good things, and now that I'm lugging 33's I kinda need it more.
