That sucks. I like naches personally. Don't blame you for idaho though. I grew up in washington and it has gotten out of control. Its unfortunate because I love the state, but as always people ruin everything

Lol not really sure what point you are trying to make. Doesn't change the fact everyone one the eastern front has massive kills counts due to the amount of targets. Hans-Ulrich Rudel has over 500 tanks kills alone.

Love the pissing contest that's starting. The fact of the matter is until fairly recently, very few people could hit a target past 800m. Now you can take someone with 0 experience and get them slapping steel consistently at 800. Further if you get better balistics like a 6.5

I think the only takehome from that sidebar is that the OGs weren't using Strelock for Android and a $500 doppler radar chrono. Pencil and paper did fine for a long time.....

    Sounds like user error
We are talking muzzle velocity not regular velocity average. While the math is similar I don’t think that a person is going to be able detect the over time part of the equation. Don’t forget get to convert from mps to fps my multiplying 3.280. :)

Shooting your chronograph twice is user error.

It is. But when you do it over decades nearly a hundred of times a month, it’s bound to happen when you’re in a hurry.

You might be all pissed off I said optical chronographs suck but you nor anyone else has been able to tell me that their “just as good” optical chrono is better than any of the...and I quote you...”doo dads” you mentioned.

As you said, Velocity IS velocity but the method they use to gather this information are different. The accuracy of the information just isn’t there with optical chrono’s outside of a maybe oehler 35p.
I never said that everyone or 95 taco needs a magnetospeed or a labradar, just that your broad statement of there being no need to drop money on one of the two is a false statement.

Just picked up a Canik TP9SFX (9mm). Not fired it yet but have heard it's a hell of a good gun for the price, comparable to Glock prices of the same caliber, slightly cheaper. It will get range tested on Tuesday (when the range offers 50% off to people with a CHL).

Now if I could actually get my hands on some ammo I'll be in good shape. I'm down to 200 rounds of FMJ 9mm
