This I genius. I had looked into manual hubs a little while ago but I didn't even consider the 2lo option/benefit.
    Is this still for sale?

forgive the super naive question...does factory/ electronic 4 wheel switch still work with this conversion or does one have to buy and use manual (hub) engagement? Or do both work?

What is the point of the A.D.D. if the front diff is open?

Less ware on the front drive shaft. And potentially a very slight gain in mpg, might not be noticeable to regular drivers.

You’re right. Took me a long while picturing it in my mind to finally see it. Only the spider gears turn with A.D.D.

Wow, I’m super impressed by this kit!

My only qualm about the 3rd gens are CV’s and diff spinning even though driveshaft and ring gear are not. Technically less stress, but still isn’t freewheeling like the old days and doesn’t give all the other benefits

I’ll be in touch tomorrow, well worth the cash.

So would this be different for me? I have an '18 SR. 8" rear end, no TRD, etc. I also hear a lot of problems here about front ADD problems from water intrusion due to water crossings. Would this totally sidestep that problem? Would you no longer need the ADD, even though it would be still connected? Will the truck/4x4 work without it if it gets wet or is removed? Thanks.

The year model doesn't matter, it's the same up front. I had a PreRunner to 4x4 conversion, so I didn't have to worry about the electronics- I welded my ADD in the engaged position and made a plate to cover where the ADD would be. Keeping or deleting ADD is your decision.
