Upgraded the previously upgraded front door speakers. The previous 6x9s sounded great, but the new 6.75" sound better ... plus I can still get a dedicated amp on them to make them hit much harder.

I got some new interior pieces in because I was getting rid of some switches and didn’t want the holes. Betty white is a classy lady and I don’t want her looking like a bag of shit.

Here’s a little before and after. I took the time to fix my slightly crooked head unit as well as wire in a USB outlet for it. I also relocated my radio to the center console. I ordered a CAT5 extension so I’ll have a female plug remote mounted somewhere, and just plug in the mic when I wheel. All the controls are on the mic which is why I took the opportunity to hide this.

Drove to the dealership to pick up some parts and order a couple more.
Getting my remote start harness done, finally.
Putting my door mirror harnesses together, also finally.
When I get the mirror harnesses done I can sound deaden the doors, install the new moisture barriers with new butyl and put on the door panels that have been off for months!

I tried to have my frame anti-corrosion treatment (Toyota service campaign) done today, but: Epic Dealer Fail!

My frame was inspected in, I don't know, August? (Frame is fine.) Appointment for treatment was set. I called this past Monday to confirm that they'd provide a loaner/rental for the day.

Anyway, the frame treatment was scheduled for today. However, they didn't figure out until I arrived this morning that the one guy certified to do the work was not working today.

They said the next opening on the calendar is 26 November. I said it's probably open on the calendar because that is Thanksgiving.

They then said the next opening on the calendar is 30 November.

    So, another wait (~2 months).

I've only been a Toyota owner since I bought this Tacoma in July, and this dealer is certainly making an impression on me. (not a good impression)

Maybe I'll call the other dealer in the area and see if they can do it any sooner.

Got the Trail Gear bumper installed to replace the Pelfreybilt hidden winch setup. Got the Prinsu rack on earlier this week. Still waiting for the light bar that was “delivered” two weeks ago. Apparently the vendor couldn’t tell the difference between $25 brackets and a $250 light bar.
