Thanks for the input. I guess no one likes Rockstar's I am leaning towards Powder Coating my stock 17's Satin Black and putting Mickey Thompson Baja ATZ Radial's or Nitto Trail Grappler M/T's on it. I like the stock look. That is why I was considering Rockstar's, because they are 5 spoke like the stock rims.

It will stick out more than stock, but you won't be able to run 285's on it, only 265's.

    What if I ran-
    18x8
    Offset: +10mm
    Backspacing: 4.92"
What would be the biggest tire I can run? If I change the UCL's would I be able to run a bigger tire with this rim or would it still hit something. This is the wheel I am looking at, but I am going to powder coat them satin black.

The problem with the rims you posted is their backspacing is too high. You need 4.5" backspacing in order to run 285's.

with the rim you posted above (4.92 backspacing), you can run 265/65/18's. That's what I'm running in the pic below.

    Your truck looks great!!!
You are really helpful, I am starting to narrow it down. The problem with 265/65/18's is the 2 tires that I am considering, aren't made in that size. I want either Nitto Trail Grappler M/T's or Toyo Open Country M/T's. I can go either 17's or 18's.
I actually like this rim the best, but my size choices are
    Size: 17x8
    Offset: +25mm
    Backspacing: 5.47"
    or
    Size: 18x9
    Offset: 12mm
    Backspacing: 5.47"
    and tire sizes
    265/70R17 Toyo's or Nitto's
    275/70R18 (33X11.00R18) Toyo's
    285/65R18 Nitto's
Like I said, I don't mind changing the UCA's if that would help. Where do the tires hit, the UCA or the frame? Thanks again KPT for your input, you are really helpfull.

With that backspacing, the 285's will rub the uca's constantly, and changing UCA's won't help that I don't think. The tires will also rub on the cab mount at full lock.

If you are set on those rims you basically have two options. You could get wheel spacers, which push the rim further out and effectively change the backspacing, or you could just run 265/70/17's. Those are the same width and diameter as the ones on my truck, just a different rim size.

You have been VERY helpful KPT. I think I am going to go with the-
    Ultra Wheel Drifter
    17X8
    Offset:+25mm
    Backspacing:5.47"
    265/70R17 Toyo Open Country M/T's
I like the overall tire diameter of you tire, I didn't realize it was a 32". You have been a great help. Sorry to be a pain, but I don't want to make the same mistake again by jumping into buying rims. Now I have Pro Comp Wheels that are gona be big paper weights :).
BTW the Built Right UCA's give you more tire clearance from what I am told. I might still get them, if they help with the alignment- after I put the 5100's on at 2.5 my tires are bowed out a little on top. I hate the way the looks!!
I may also put the Toytec Coil Over kit on my 5100's to get it to sit level front to back. Right now it sits a hair lower in the front.

BAD NEWS. I BOUGHT THE RIMS FROM A TIRE SHOP AND I WAS GOING TO GET THE TIRES AT SEARS. ONCE I WAS AT SEARS THEY TOLD ME THE RIMS DIDN'T FIT THE TRUCK BECAUSE THEY WERE HITTING THE CALIPER... 2 OPTIONS NOW, #1 TAKE THE RIMS BACK AND SEE WHAT THEY CAN DO AT THE TIRE SHOP OR #2 GET A WHEEL SPACER AND BE DONE WITH IT. THE ONLY THING IS THAT I DON'T KNOW IF I SHOULD TRUST WHEEL SPACERS OR NOT. WHAT DOES THE TACOMA FAMILY THINK? THE RIMS ARE EAGLE ALLOYS (185 SERIES). I DONT HAVE A LOT OF MONEY, THAT'S WHY I GOT THE RIMS CASH AND THE TIRES ON CREDIT. IF I CAN GET MY MONEY BACK FROM THE TIRE SHOP, I CAN GET THE ULTRA BAJA CHAMP RIMS FROM SEARS BUT I DONT KNOW HOW THOSE WILL LOOK ON MY TRUCK... SO BUMMED RIGHT NOW... I STILL PUT THE NEW BFG TIRES ON THE OLD RIMS AND IT LOOKS COOL BUT I REALLY WANTED THOSE OTHER RIMS. OH WELL. LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU GUYS THINK. AGAIN, THE TIRES ARE 265 70 R 16 AND THE RIMS WERE THE BLACK EAGLE ALLOYS 185.

    Please stop yelling (caps).

If the caliper contact is minor, what most have done is just take a grinder and shave a little off the caliper.

EDIT: Also the Eagle Alloy Website shows those wheels as 4.0 backspacing (that's 0.5" further out than ideal). If you add a wheel spacer that will push the wheels out ever further and could lead to a lot of tire rubbing when turning.

That is why I am doing so much research on this. I don't want to buy Rims and Tires and them not look good or fit right. A lot of people on here have been VERY helpful. I think I have found my perfect Rim and tire combo. I had to buy UCA's to make it fit, but in the end it is worth it to me. Be careful and don't rig your truck to make those rims work. I would just use your stock rims, until you save up the money for new ones. Next time I would "measure twice and cut once" - meaning do tons of research first!!

On stock suspension, you will only be able to run 265/75/16's.

Also, the rims you listed won't work. Not only are they the wrong bolt pattern (5 on 4.5 instead of 6 on 5.5), they are much too wide to run a 265 tire on. Look for an 8" rim.

For an 8" wide wheel, you would want 0mm offset to run 285's, and between 0 and +25mm to run a 265.
