Had a friend use my 2011 TRD truck. Said the jet started acting up, would not always unlock. Occasionally. Then it stopped all together. He replaced the battery and the key is still not starting the truck, with the engine disabler?
Any help would be much appreciated!!

Does the flashing red key light on the dash stop flashing with the key in the ignition and turned to ON?

The Key Fob should have nothing to do with the truck cranking or starting.

So after double checking. I was wrong. The key is fine, the remote took a crap. Has a new battery and I used another battery, as well, to make sure it was not dead battery
