yeah, BC's social media pages were getting LIT into. It wasn't pretty. Very bad look for the outdoors community, unfortunately.

    Thanks man!

Standing by for a review on the pike...and the whole machine of course

Much as I love my V4 Tallboy, I feel like I have an unquenchable thirst to try different bikes

Didn't know there was interest. I'll put something up later. Gave it one quick ride yesterday. supposed to do the enchilada this weekend so it'll be a perfect proving grounds.

What does it mean when the sidewalls of your tires start “seeping”? Like seems like the sealant is coming through?

I ran too low of air pressure repeatedly in the rear tire of my BOTE Cannondale a couple years ago. The result of that was slightly visible cords and seeping from the sidewall. I relegated that tire to a spare and replaced it.

If you are using Stans and its seeping even after a few ride cycles, try a different sealant. I went Orangeseal endurance this year and so far like it better.

I am running stans, it’s all my bike shop uses and recommends. It’s only happening to my rear tire which I run about 28-30 psi depending on the days plan. It’s not like “oozing” just wet spots I noticed on both sides. I can’t even positively say it’s sealant but idk what else it would be lol

It means you need to start tire shopping. It’s not critical yet but it’s showing signs of weakening so it won’t be long. I wouldn’t go on a big ride with a tire doing that.

At least it’s uniform so that’s not indicating a point of failure. Looks like a lot to me but that could be because the tires are dusty

It is dusty, but I think it’s also because I just rode so maybe it kinda slung around? Idk. It’s kinda been all around the tire since I noticed it 2 rides ago. It’s just barely barely “wet” if you rub your finger across it, giggity.

Congrats Evil buddy! It's funny how similar the short travel Following looks to the long travel Wreckoning. That DELTA platform works really well, very impressed with it so far.

It's the Stans. Get a new tire when it's time, no need to rush. Use Orange and be happy. Orange seals better, lasts longer, and has different formulas so you can tailor it to your needs.
**It's also a combo of tire casing and Stans. Thicker casings are much less likely to seep.
