Ways to secure a snowboard in the bed?

I snowboard a lot and its about a 2 hour drive to the nearest mountain from my house and i was wondering if anyone has found a good way to keep their board from sliding around getting trashed in the bed?

 

board bag? thats all i use

 

I have been wondering the same thing. Since i have the light bar in my bed, i was thinking about rigging up some sort of system to hold the board on the bar. So it would sit securely across it. As for just a regular bed, im not sure.

 

x2 I have a topper on mine but I still put it in a board bag so I can keep other stuff back there with it.

 

hey man i have a topper but this should work for you.....

if you want a nice set up

find a 2x6 cut it to bed width and put it in the indent in the wheel wells of the bed then use strps to secure your snowboard to the board

or some rubberized work clamps

 

Yeah i just have it in a board bag

how do you guys stand getting yur beds full of snow???
that would be annoying

 

it never gets that much snow cause i just do day trips

 

That's sweet! I've been contemplating the last couple of days about which roof rack to buy but when I saw your set-up I decided to go this route. Just completed my order on EBay. Thanks for the tip brotha!

We can hook you up with whatever crossbars you need that are a direct bolt on to the track system.



We can also do round tube to fit Yakima attachments as well.....

The set pictured are strong enough for me to completely stand on one bar making them plenty strong for just about any application.
