Working for Fastenal, I've sold some super tiny drill bits. The smallest I've sold is a .025 mm. I couldn't hardly see it inside the packaging.

First I'd have to sand the area off where the stinger goes so it would get a contact then the coating on the outside would probably fall off while using it and it's just aggravating. The coating on the outside is already brittle, when it gets wet then dries out it's super brittle. If it's damp to start with it doesn't weld good at all.

If I really needed them, I'd try and make do with them. I just don't do that much stick welding anymore and have a couple boxes at home in an old refrigerator to keep them dry.

Could you technically throw them into a kiln of sorts to dry them out?

Here’s that disc I was messing with yesterday. Had to chamfer the center and make a handle for it. Not sure what it’s purpose is.

    New poll.

Was fixing my coffee this morning and it got me to thinking. I drink 1-2 cups a day. My coworker out in the shop drinks a pot+ a day, everyday, all year.

One cup of coffee every morning (just finished it, actually) then caffeinated MiO throughout the day.

My dad puts coffee away like nobody's business. It's quite staggering.

I was born in Georgia and grew up drinking tea. Every once in a while I get a hankering but haven't had any for about 2 years. Might be about time to reset that counter.

During the NDSU game sounds like a good idea. :D
