Just ordered a indoor plush weave California car cover. 8 weeks out. Reason for purchase is because it sits in the garage at least 5 days a week since I have a 2020 ranger that the company provided as my daily. Might as well keep it clean and scrape free from my kids going through the garage.

Had a dealership do an oil change on my 2nd gen. Roughly 1000 mi later I discovered that they never replaced my oil cap. Now I check any work done that a dealership does and take nothing for granted.

3. YotaLEDs grille lights - Smoked white
4. YotaLEDs side mirror sequential turn signals (big difference in brightness during the day!)
5. Replaced tag lights with LED's (Sylvania white 194's because the other LED's offered I think are too bright just for a tag light. Drop in replacements work just fine IMO)
6. AC drain relocation mod (If you install shortly after driving, it is like playing a game of operation, but instead of a buzzer sound, you just burn the out of yourself)

Waiting on white door bowl lights from Katie, should deliver Monday. Also waiting on an OEM bed mat to arrive (just ordered yesterday so no ETA).

 

I'm not sure how big your Pelican cases are, but look at some of the systems available for motorcycles. Most of them use some kind of permanently mounted aluminum plate, with pucks that get attached to the case. When I had my KLR with pannier racks, I used these quick mount plates from MOSKOMOTO. They are technically for road bikes, but they are stout enough to use for pretty much anything. I'm sure you could figure out a nice way to mount them to your rack.

I think it only makes a difference going 55 in a wind tunnel. I and most people who remove it never saw more than possibly .5 mpg loss
